This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Direct the organization’s internal initiatives for the deployment of NetSuite
• Manage the internal project timeline and align activities and dependencies across various departments
• Oversee the project budget and schedule
• Deliver transparent reports on progress, risks, challenges, and decisions
• Identify potential risks, assist in resolving project issues, and escalate matters that need leadership intervention
• Create and sustain the internal implementation work plan alongside the project manager from the implementation partner
• Organize internal involvement in gathering requirements, conducting process walkthroughs, reviewing configurations, validating activities, and making business decisions
• Keep records of project governance, which include schedules, budgets, risk and issue logs, decision logs, defect logs, change request logs, action trackers, testing dashboards, and status reports
• Document and monitor business, technical, scope, configuration, data, and implementation decisions
• Coordinate both internal and third-party resources for integrations, data transfers, licensing, access, security, privacy, and other technical dependencies
• Supervise training, process documentation, end-user resources, communications, change-management efforts, and operational readiness
• Manage cutover and go-live readiness tasks, including approvals, data validation, testing sign-offs, user preparation, support arrangements, rollback considerations, and contingency plans
• Assist in the transition from implementation to operational ownership, including documentation, issue management, post-go-live stabilization, support arrangements, and handover
• Review risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, overdue decisions, resource constraints, quality concerns, and possible impacts on scope, schedule, or budget
• Track implementation partner performance and deliverables and facilitate the resolution of discrepancies
• Provide regular updates on the project to sponsors and stakeholders
• Engage in Parkinson Canada’s EOS operating framework, which includes meeting schedules, quarterly priorities, and defined role responsibilities
• Collaborate with business leaders, project team members, subject-matter experts, Finance, Operations, IT, and other departments
• Foster communication between internal stakeholders and the implementation partner
• Promote organizational adoption and sustained system ownership
• Post-secondary qualifications in business administration, finance, information systems, project management, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in managing system implementations, ERP, finance systems, or enterprise application projects
• Experience in coordinating cross-functional project teams, external implementation partners, and business subject-matter experts
• Strong grasp of project governance, risk and issue management, testing coordination, data migration, change management, and go-live readiness
• Working knowledge of essential finance and accounting processes, including general ledger, AP/AR, month-end close, reconciliation, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Experience with reporting, integrations, security, privacy, or operational requirements
• Project management certification or formal project management training is viewed as an asset
• Practical experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system is highly preferred
• Familiarity with chart of accounts, multi-entity/subsidiary structures, financial reporting, saved searches, and system configuration or customization
• Experience managing external vendors and implementation partners against a statement of work, including deliverable acceptance and change orders
• Experience overseeing project budgets, forecasting, tracking actuals, monitoring burn rate, managing variances, and re-forecasting
• Experience leading organizational change management and user adoption for system implementations
• Formal change-management certification such as Prosci/ADKAR is considered advantageous
• Business analysis and process-mapping skills
• Proficient with project and portfolio management tools like MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or Asana
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with waterfall, agile, or hybrid project delivery methodologies applied to phased ERP implementations
