
Application Engineer – Supplemental Disinfection

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The primary responsibility will be to assist our Supplemental Disinfection Team.
• The Application Engineer for Supplemental Disinfection will collaborate with our sales team, clients, engineering, and the technical marketing group to create, design, install, and maintain supplemental disinfection equipment systems.
• Key duties encompass: administrative support, technical assistance, consultative roles, and sales support.
• Deliver commissioning and startup services for supplemental disinfection equipment.
• Provide support for equipment used in current supplemental disinfection applications, including routine maintenance and telephone assistance for field representatives.
• Conduct audits of existing applications to ensure that service expectations are being fulfilled.
• Advise customers on suitable water treatment and maintenance strategies to reduce risks linked to Legionella and other waterborne pathogens.
• Work together with technical marketing and engineering teams to enhance processes, documentation, literature, and other collateral materials.
• Undertake additional projects and administrative tasks as delegated by the manager.
• Knowledge of premise plumbing systems, both potable and non-potable.
• Experience with PLCs, control theories (proportional, integral, derivative, and their combinations), flow-based control, and sensor-based control.
• A Bachelor of Science degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, preferably in engineering, biology, or chemistry.
• Competence in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a preference for working in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, follow-through, and capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A high degree of professionalism along with robust communication skills.
• Capability to survey facilities, take comprehensive notes, and generate reports based on observations.
• Comfort speaking in front of large groups during training and educational seminars.
• A positive demeanor, commitment to client service, and a readiness to assist the office team with various tasks.
