Application Engineer – Medical

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Serve as a technical authority for packaging applications at client manufacturing sites in the Healthcare (Medical) sector throughout EMEA.

• Assist clients with the selection of standard products, optimization of applications, and successful commercialization of standard products.

• Collaborate closely with Sales and Field Technical Service teams to address intricate application challenges.

• Lead and facilitate the qualification of standard products, sample testing, and scale-up processes at customer locations.

• Perform evaluations of packaging lines and their performance to illustrate measurable customer value.

• Gather insights from customers and the market to pinpoint gaps in the portfolio, identify innovation opportunities, and monitor competitive trends.

• Disseminate knowledge internally and contribute to the enhancement of application capabilities across the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in application engineering, technical sales, or related positions in flexible packaging.

• Familiarity with the healthcare market and relevant exposure (preferred).

• Strong comprehension of packaging materials and customer manufacturing workflows.

• Demonstrated capability to evaluate customer requirements and convert them into feasible, scalable solutions.

• Excellent project management, problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities.

• Ability to work autonomously within a cross-functional, international setting.

• Openness to travel over 50% of the time.
