Application Engineer – AU Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Analyze incoming technical inquiries, specifications, datasheets, and drawings to assess application scope and operational conditions.

• Assess and choose suitable pumps, side-channel blowers, vacuum systems, compressors, and auxiliary components customized to meet client requirements.

• Create technically precise and commercially comprehensive cost estimates, quotations, and tender submissions.

• Interact directly with clients to clarify their needs, explain equipment choices, and collect any missing technical information.

• Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external suppliers to assemble technical documentation, drawings, and supporting product specifications.

• Participate in structured technical training to continuously enhance specialized knowledge of industrial vacuum and fluid-handling systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.

• Practical experience in application engineering, estimating, technical sales support, or a similar mechanical engineering position.

• Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical datasheets, and complex equipment specifications.

• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.

• Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills in English for direct client engagement and technical documentation.

• Previous experience with industrial rotating equipment, centrifugal pumps, or side-channel blowers is preferred.

• Knowledge of vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, compressors, or process fluid-handling systems is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in preparing formal technical tenders and proposals is preferred.

• Familiarity with Australian industrial sectors, standards, or engineering firms is preferred.
