Application Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Oversee Application Engineering functions for Conveyor Products.

• Execute the segment's strategy while balancing strategic initiatives with operational responsibilities.

• Provide on-site assistance and troubleshoot applications for our primary customer located in Arizona.

• Initiate and oversee the execution of relevant Application Engineering tasks (Customer projects, technical modifications, quality enhancements).

• Carry out field inspections, perform root cause analysis, and troubleshoot issues related to Conveyor Products.

• Ensure adherence to established quality standards (both internal and external).

• Develop and implement segment strategies within their area of responsibility, including deployment to and throughout their teams.

• Analyze market trends and technologies to contribute to business strategies.

• Participate in strategic meetings with customers, conferences, etc., to provide technical insights or present optimal engineering solutions.

• Choose and recommend the most suitable product specifications for the application.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Over 2 years of experience in application engineering or a similar role within the mining sector.

• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.

• Proficient in the MS Office suite (Excel and PowerPoint).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% to customer locations for application support, project execution, and field troubleshooting.

• More than 5 years of experience in the Mining Industry (preferred).

• Familiarity with industrial conveyor systems (preferred).

• Experience in customer-facing roles (preferred).

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is mandatory.
