This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +4 more states.
β’ Offer technical support and expertise in water treatment to clients and sales teams.
β’ Suggest and implement water treatment products, services, and application solutions.
β’ Collaborate with clients to address formulation and application issues.
β’ Conduct joint customer visits alongside sales representatives and suppliers.
β’ Create technical proposals and assist in business development efforts.
β’ Keep an eye on market, regulatory, and industry trends to uncover new opportunities.
β’ Provide training presentations for customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
β’ Act as the main technical liaison with supplier partners.
β’ Assist in launching new products, qualifying suppliers, and meeting NSF requirements.
β’ Work with suppliers on product development, service solutions, and market strategies.
β’ Help with discussions and negotiations regarding customer and supplier contracts.
β’ Track customer opportunities, activities, and reports within SFDC.
β’ Aid in business planning, forecasting, and strategic growth initiatives.
β’ Engage in trade shows, industry conferences, webinars, and professional organizations.
β’ Collaborate with Operations to enhance chemical handling processes and water-focused initiatives.
β’ Connect Sales, Operations, suppliers, and customers to achieve business objectives.
β’ Deliver product and industry training to sales, support, and operations teams.
β’ 5+ years of sales experience focusing on technical products, ideally in water treatment, chemicals, or industrial solutions.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of consultative selling and technical solution development.
β’ Experience collaborating with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams at various organizational levels.
β’ Familiarity with water treatment products, applications, and industry regulations.
β’ Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
β’ Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects and priorities.
β’ Proven track record of identifying opportunities, resolving issues, and driving business growth.
β’ High standard of professionalism, integrity, and business ethics.
β’ Proficient in CRM systems, preferably SFDC, and Microsoft Office applications.
β’ Willingness to travel and perform customer-facing technical support tasks.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Water Technology, or a related discipline.
β’ Experience in chemical distribution or water treatment sectors.
β’ Technical knowledge of NSF requirements, regulatory compliance, and water industry applications.
β’ Proven experience in training, presentations, and business development.
β’ Must be a resident of Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, or Ohio.
β’ Ability to travel from Monday to Friday, including overnight stays, and be away from home for 3 to 5 consecutive days as needed by business requirements.
