Application Designer – Early Career

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design, development, installation, testing, and documentation of application software, encompassing server, client, and web components.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to produce technical documentation and aid in the development of testing strategies.

• Ensure the successful integration and deployment of applications.

• Connect application architects and developers to guarantee precise design requirements and provide a return on investment for clients.

• Define and develop project requirements, functional specifications, and application solution designs by utilizing appropriate methodologies and industry standards.

• Create technical documentation and validation plans.

• Collaborate with project teams to facilitate application integration and rollout efforts.

• Contribute to the objectives of Gainwell and clients as a member of a software development team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in relevant programming languages, operating systems, hardware, and software.

• Preferred knowledge of web service development, including ADO, Batch, Linux, Unix, C, and SQL.

• Understanding of fundamental software design, development, and implementation methodologies.

• Basic skills in data analysis and software testing.

• Capability to create requirements and assess modifications and enhancements.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients and senior leaders.

• Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with colleagues and leaders in a remote setting.

• Video cameras are required to be used during all interviews and the initial week of orientation.

• Photo verification is necessary at all stages of the recruitment process.
