Application Consultant – Digital Pathology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Act as the technical authority supporting the Digital Pathology commercial team throughout the entire customer lifecycle.

• Collaborate with Sales Specialists, Account Managers, and customer representatives to promote the adoption of Digital and Computational Pathology solutions.

• Design, present, and facilitate discussions about customers’ IT infrastructures.

• Offer solutions that address clinical, operational, and enterprise IT needs.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders in pathology, laboratory, clinical, and IT fields.

• Create and convey value propositions that support diagnostic excellence, operational efficiency, digital transformation, and enhanced patient outcomes.

• Provide expert knowledge in both pre- and post-sales phases.

• Utilize standard work tools to identify and enhance opportunities.

• Present and demonstrate hardware, software, workflow solutions, and clinical applications.

• Lead customer discovery sessions, workflow evaluations, and solution design workshops.

• Showcase Digital Pathology, image analysis, and AI-driven diagnostic solutions to healthcare organizations.

• Influence stakeholders across pathology, laboratory operations, informatics, and healthcare IT sectors.

• Assist customers in transitioning to digital and computational pathology workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, informatics, imaging, or healthcare-related field.

• Experience in healthcare IT settings and systems integration.

• Familiarity with digital pathology, medical imaging, diagnostics, healthcare IT, or laboratory technology solutions.

• Knowledge of interoperability with LIS using standards such as DICOM and HL7.

• Proficiency with Salesforce or a similar CRM platform.

• Background in solution selling, technical consulting, applications support, or solution architecture.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 80%, including overnight trips.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.

• Previous experience in integrating or supporting digital pathology scanners and image management systems is an advantage.

• Experience in delivering technical presentations, customer training sessions, or product demonstrations is preferred.

• Familiarity with medical image analysis algorithms, computational pathology, or Artificial Intelligence solutions in clinical diagnostics is a plus.
