Application Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and configure business systems, including upgrades and enhancements for low-complexity applications.

• Evaluate and estimate the impact of requested modifications on assigned business systems or platforms.

• Guide the design of workflows, configure and test system modifications, and analyze technical challenges.

• Collaborate with leadership and business teams to develop new processes and procedures.

• Create and sustain technical and system documentation.

• Participate in peer design and code reviews.

• Identify and resolve application issues impacting the application and other teams.

• Communicate with business stakeholders and software vendor implementation teams.

• Explore opportunities to enhance business workflows through technology.

• Develop, document, and conduct training for end users.

• Troubleshoot inquiries and provide status updates.

• Offer end-user production support via issue-tracking systems.

• Review project and issue statuses with project leadership.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and project leadership.

• Adhere to the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.

• Maintain consistent and dependable attendance.

• Travel up to 5% of working time, which may include overnight and weekend travel.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, or a High School Diploma/GED combined with 4 years of pertinent experience in place of a Bachelor’s Degree.

• Over 3 years of experience in developing or configuring technology solutions in an application analyst or project delivery capacity.

• Proven understanding of industry best practices.

• Strong computer proficiency, including internet navigation and email communication.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Capability to perform essential tasks with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

• Flexibility to work nights and/or weekends as necessary.

• Ability to operate a computer and phone simultaneously.

• Ability to utilize a mobile device, tablet, or computer screen and type for approximately 90% of a standard working day.

• Ability and means to travel between local Exact Sciences locations.

• Preferred: experience in configuring business systems software within life sciences, healthcare, or relevant sectors.

• Preferred: relevant Epic certifications, notably Cheers, MyChart, and Care Everywhere.

• Preferred: professional working expertise in healthcare or biotechnology.

• Preferred: professional working knowledge of agile delivery methodologies.
