Appian Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with key stakeholders from Federal and Commercial clients to re-engineer business processes and convert those requirements into BPM code.

• Work closely with the Agency Business Owner, Product Owner, IT Federal Project Manager (FPM), and other Federal Technical stakeholders to thoroughly understand the functional and technical requirements related to case management.

• Actively engage in major design decisions and provide valuable input.

• Design and develop applications using Appian and conduct customer demonstrations.

• Integrate functional requirements into Appian business flows by utilizing Process Models, Rules, CDTs, and Web Service Integration.

• Create and implement complex enterprise integrations using industry-standard technologies.

• Contribute to the BPM and Case Management practice at A&S by sharing best practices.

• Assist in user testing and business transition activities.

• Ensure compliance with Federal standards for Digital Services and US Web Design Standards.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required, along with more than five (5) years of hands-on full stack experience, including a minimum of 3 years working with Appian, preferably in a federal environment, using agile/SAFe methodologies.

• Senior Appian Developer (L2) Certification is mandatory.

• A combination of Appian Developer and Appian Administrator experience, or equivalent experience, is necessary.

• Agile/SAFe and other relevant developer certifications, or equivalent experience, are required.

• Experience with AWS is essential.
