Appian Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Design, architect, and implement sophisticated Appian applications and integrations to meet DAMIS requirements.

• Oversee code reviews and uphold Appian coding standards and best practices.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues within Appian and integrated Army systems.

• Offer mentorship and technical support to junior and intermediate Appian developers.

• Assist in the integration, deployment, and maintenance of Appian solutions across Army enterprise environments.

• Work collaboratively with Army G-1 stakeholders to convert business requirements into functional, automated Appian workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• 2 to 7 years of professional software development experience utilizing Appian.

• Demonstrated capability to design and deploy intricate Appian applications in production settings.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Prior experience in developing solutions for the Department of Defense (DoD) or U.S. Army.

• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Security+ or a related DoD 8570 certification.

• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including Agile and DevSecOps methodologies.

• Active DoD SECRET clearance.
