This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist customers in their transition to cloud services by offering both technical and strategic support.
• Engage in consulting, planning, designing, and executing solutions for cloud-native applications.
• Evaluate full-stack architectures and suggest iterative approaches for cloud-native modernization.
• Write, test, and deploy enhancements in client applications.
• Construct and deploy infrastructure while automating customer operations.
• Create technical documentation, including automation tools, reference architectures, and white papers.
• Convert customer requirements and feedback into technology roadmaps and improved services.
• Provide assistance with technical briefs and the implementation of reference architectures.
• Contribute to thought leadership through writing blog posts and developing internal case studies.
• Perform architectural evaluations and identify applications that are appropriate for migration to AWS cloud-native services.
• Aid in breaking down monolithic applications into modular implementations by utilizing DevOps methodologies.
• Deliver application code and configuration modifications, as well as implement automated testing.
• Define and assess the capabilities and architecture of customer DevOps frameworks.
• Offer AWS best practices and assist in defining and executing a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) DevOps framework.
• Deploy ASP.NET web applications and Amazon EC2 instances.
• Deploy Python and Java applications on AWS Lambda.
• Implement blue/green deployment strategies on Amazon ECS.
• Set up deployment-monitoring dashboards.
• Identify subsequent actions and facilitate knowledge transfer to customer stakeholders.
• Proven experience in architecting or managing full-stack business, consumer, or corporate web and mobile applications on AWS.
• Familiarity with Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure DevOps/TFS, EC2, Lambda, S3, AWS networking, .NET, IIS, MS SQL Server, Java, Apache Tomcat, SNS, Secrets Manager, and CloudWatch.
• Background in software or technology architecture.
• Experience interacting with customers in a professional setting.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, or C#.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, both now and in the future.
• Technical expertise in Python, JavaScript, Node.js, ReactJS, Angular, Vue, Ruby, SQL, SOAP, REST, and GraphQL.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform, Vault, Git, Subversion, Docker, Kubernetes, DataDog, Apache, NGINX, and IIS.
• Understanding of MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.
• Knowledge of a wide range of AWS services, including CloudFormation, AWS CLI, AWS CDK, S3, EBS, EC2, ECS, EKS, ECR, Lambda, Batch, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, VPC, Route53, API Gateway, CloudFront, App Mesh, Global Accelerator, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeCommit, CodeDeploy, X-Ray, CloudWatch, IAM, Key Management Service, Secrets Manager, Cognito, Certificate Manager, WAF & Shield, SNS, SQS, Step Functions, Simple Workflow, EventBridge, AppFlow, Amplify, AppSync, Device Farm, Amazon Location Service, and SAM.
