API Integrations Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and oversee integrations between internal applications and external platforms.

• Create modular integration frameworks that ensure consistent usage across various products.

• Collaborate with product and AI engineers to craft integration architectures that meet business requirements.

• Build reusable SDKs and microservices for prevalent integration patterns.

• Sustain documentation for robust and scalable integration processes.

• Monitor and troubleshoot integration problems to guarantee uptime and performance.

• Automate workflows to minimize manual data handling across systems.

• Focus on security, authentication, and data consistency throughout applications.

• Identify ways to enhance integration speed, reliability, and maintainability.

• Guide products from conceptualization to live deployment with minimal supervision.

• Deliver quickly while ensuring stability, scalability, and security.

• Integrate AI functionalities that provide user value and influence key performance indicators.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Integrations Engineer, Backend Developer, or Full Stack Engineer with a focus on API-based systems.

• Proficiency in the MERN stack: MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js.

• Understanding of REST, GraphQL, webhooks, OAuth, and general API communication protocols.

• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Familiarity with Python is preferred but not essential.

• Ability to quickly comprehend, interpret, and implement third-party API documentation.

• Experience in integrating B2B SaaS tools such as Meta, ServiceNow, Clio, HubSpot, or healthcare APIs.

• Knowledge of asynchronous data flows, error handling, and messaging queues like RabbitMQ or Kafka.

• Experience with Git and contemporary CI/CD pipelines.

• Exposure to developing or integrating large-scale web platforms and modern web technologies.

• Familiarity with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.

• Experience with Cursor AI or rapid development tools.

• Immediate joiners are preferred, but all candidates will be considered.
