This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Design, develop, test, and launch secure, scalable APIs for internal applications, customer-focused solutions, and external platforms.
• Build and oversee API integrations utilizing Azure API Management, which includes aspects such as authentication, routing, monitoring, versioning, and governance.
• Create Azure Logic Apps and associated automation tools to enhance application and business workflows.
• Implement dependable asynchronous integrations and event-driven processes via Azure Service Bus.
• Connect business applications with third-party systems, vendor management platforms, and enterprise services.
• Assist in the deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of an inherited business application.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and technology operations teams to establish deployment requirements and address technical dependencies.
• Monitor the performance of APIs and applications, identify root causes of technical issues, and enact sustainable corrective measures.
• Generate and sustain technical documentation that encompasses APIs, workflows, system dependencies, deployment processes, and support procedures.
• Employ Azure development, security, testing, and DevOps best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• At least five years of hands-on development experience within Microsoft Azure environments.
• Active Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate certification (AZ-204).
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and supporting RESTful APIs utilizing Azure API Management.
• Strong practical experience with Azure Logic Apps and process or workflow automation.
• Experience in implementing messaging, event-driven integrations, or asynchronous processing with Azure Service Bus.
• Established ability to deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing or inherited enterprise applications.
• Solid understanding of cloud security, authentication, identity management, monitoring, error handling, and best practices for API integration.
