Android Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop new features and functionalities for Nebula — a spiritual wellness product used by millions in over 60 countries.

• Tackle complex tasks and discover solutions without predefined patterns.

• Implement AI solutions throughout the development lifecycle — from code generation to testing.

• Demonstrate to the team how AI accelerates delivery without compromising quality.

• Enhance the technical expertise of the Android team.

• Design features in accordance with the architectural conventions outlined in ADR.

• Ensure delivery aligns with team processes, avoiding critical bugs.

• Foster an AI-first approach to development and testing for the Android team.

• Maintain effective cross-team communication and networking within the Tech Team.

• Collaborate with the lead and three Android developers.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Android development.

• Proficiency in Kotlin as the primary programming language.

• Confident working with Jetpack Compose and Coroutines.

• Strong skills in MVI architecture, Hilt, and Dependency Injection (DI).

• Experience writing Unit and end-to-end tests.

• Practical application of AI in the complete development and testing cycle.

• Understanding of the capabilities and limitations of AI models, including the risk of hallucinations, and validation of results.

• Ability to independently manage tasks from conception to final outcome.
