Anaplan Model Builder

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the leadership of the Sales Compensation team and the Master Anaplanner to design, develop, and implement the Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) model in Anaplan.

• Take responsibility for the daily upkeep and improvements of the ICM model, ensuring its accuracy and reliability during crucial payroll cycles and throughout the year’s plan modifications.

• Assist the broader Anaplan Center of Excellence by supporting certified model builders with maintenance activities across existing models, including top-line reporting, workforce planning, and quota management, as time permits.

• Keep thorough documentation of all relevant architecture and operational functionalities for any models that are created or modified.

• Act as the main Anaplan liaison for the Sales Compensation team, translating changes in business plans into model updates while proactively communicating timelines and risks to the Master Anaplanner and FP&A leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related fields.

• 1–3 years of experience in Anaplan modeling.

• Anaplan Certified Model Builder certification, or an active pursuit of certification within 90 days of hire.

• Knowledge of ADO, Polaris, and Anaplan Workflow is a plus.

• Familiarity with sales compensation concepts such as quota attainment, tiered commission rates, accelerators, SPIFFs, clawbacks, and crediting rules; prior experience in Sales Compensation, RevOps, or FP&A environments is advantageous.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to creatively and methodically address problems using a data-driven approach.

• Self-motivated individual capable of delivering business results with minimal supervision.

• Ability to handle conflicts, manage expectations, and juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable with process mapping and documentation creation.

• Experience with enterprise software tools such as Snowflake, Salesforce, and Dayforce.
