Analytics Solutions Specialist, Public Sector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Guide the technical strategy throughout each phase of the sales process and address technical concerns in collaboration with Account Managers.

• Provide customized demonstrations of Procore Analytics dashboards, reports, and Procore AI.

• Conduct discovery sessions to identify customers’ reporting requirements and align business processes with Procore Analytics insights.

• Collaborate with Account Managers to identify opportunities for expansion and cross-selling within enterprise accounts.

• Acquire proficiency in Power BI, data models, and Procore Analytics configuration and permissions, and share expertise with colleagues.

• Partner with Sales and Customer Success to address technical issues and coordinate with internal and external specialists.

• Act as a liaison among Account Managers, Solution Specialists, Customer Success, and Professional Services.

• Create visual materials that elucidate Procore Analytics and connect customers with Product Managers and Marketing to convey feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in software sales or solution consulting, ideally within the construction or construction technology sectors.

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Practical experience with Microsoft Power BI, specifically in creating reports, dashboards, and data models.

• Strong skills in business intelligence, including data modeling, data visualization, writing calculated measures, and executing queries with Structured Query Language (SQL).

• Capability to translate customers’ reporting requirements into well-defined dashboards and metrics, and to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, both in-person and virtually.

• Familiarity with Salesforce or a comparable customer relationship management system.

• Experience with Procore products, particularly Procore Analytics (strongly preferred).

• Knowledge of the construction industry, including general contracting, subcontracting, and real estate development (a plus).

• Experience with the Procore platform is strongly preferred.

• Passionate technology advocates who are keen on modernizing the construction industry are highly desirable.
