This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as a driving force to enable strategic operations within the card business functions through data utilization.
• Facilitate the assessment of competing priorities among business functions and develop suitable, scalable solutions.
• Propel business expansion by uncovering new opportunities and formulating hypotheses based on data analysis across Credit Risk, Portfolio Management, Fraud, and Marketing.
• Independently oversee cross-functional collaborations with Product, Engineering, Operations, Credit Risk, and executive leadership.
• Persuade stakeholders by delivering clear communications and data-informed recommendations.
• Create A/B test designs to implement a comprehensive test-and-learn strategy.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses ranging from exploratory data analysis to in-depth root cause investigations.
• Examine Credit Card engagement and performance metrics to identify trends and strategies that can boost card usage and utilization.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Product teams to develop sustainable and scalable data solutions that meet the current and future demands of the business.
• Take ownership of and manage BI reports, becoming the central point for the business's data and analytics requirements.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance analytical efficiency and promote data accessibility through self-service agents and tools.
• Over 6 years of experience in Analytics, Data Science, Decision Science, Credit Risk, or a related quantitative field.
• More than 4 years of experience supporting Credit Card portfolios, with extensive knowledge in Credit Risk, Portfolio Management, Fraud Analytics, or Consumer Lending.
• At least 4 years of experience working with SQL, alongside a willingness to learn new technical skills.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience with major BI platforms such as Tableau or Sigma.
• Over 2 years of hands-on experience utilizing Python or R for analytical problem-solving.
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Analytics, or another quantitative discipline (Master's degree is preferred).
• Technically proficient and eager to drive projects from start to finish.
