This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage the Commercial Brain by defining analyses, scrutinizing its logic, pinpointing inaccuracies and hidden assumptions, and enhancing its workflows.
• Serve as the secondary reviewer for analyses.
• Take ownership of the empirical loop by documenting anticipated outcomes and assessing actual results.
• Align sales data with platform ground truth and resolve data-provider discrepancies.
• Create automations that minimize manual analytical tasks.
• Oversee ongoing per-game analysis related to pricing, discounting, regional performance, and lifecycle dynamics for hundreds of games.
• Formulate strategies and deliverables for ambiguous commercial inquiries, subsequently translating them into AI context, repeatable AI capabilities, and scripts.
• Develop business cases for game forecasting, platform agreements, bundle strategies, and portfolio opportunities.
• Create metrics to evaluate the performance of the commercialization system.
• Collaborate with the Business Operations Manager.
• Keep written records of decision-making processes and rationale for weekly review.
• Present insights and recommendations to the Director of Commercial and executive leadership.
• 3–5 years of experience in analytics, commercial strategy, or a related field.
• A true passion for gaming.
• High level of autonomy and the ability to work with guidance and context instead of requiring close supervision.
• Experience in a startup environment with minimal processes and end-to-end ownership.
• Commitment to intellectual honesty and thorough verification of analyses.
• Familiarity with AI tools and the capability to build and refine AI-assisted workflows.
• Strong statistical foundation, including the ability to identify confounded variables and aggregation errors.
• Basic financial modeling skills and the ability to construct a business case from the ground up.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Proven ability to transform large, complex datasets into clean, credible outputs.
• Competency in identifying errors in Python and SQL.
• Strong writing skills.
• Experience in the gaming industry is a plus.
