Analytics Lead, Full Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop and refine the operational analytics framework for emerging international markets.

• Discover opportunities through analysis and product insight to improve user experience, growth, and profitability.

• Take ownership of business challenges from beginning to end, transforming insights into actionable recommendations and optimization strategies.

• Establish success metrics, derive insights and hypotheses, monitor performance, and create dashboards and reports.

• Create scalable analytics solutions and data models.

• Design effective experiments to validate product-market fit and economic feasibility.

• Convey findings through narratives and business cases for leadership review.

• Conduct weekly cross-functional metric evaluations and analyze significant metric fluctuations.

• Collaborate with teams in Product, Risk, Finance, Commercial, and Operations.

• Foster cross-functional relationships and serve as a trusted advisor.

• Mentor and support junior analysts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitatively rigorous field such as statistics, mathematics, finance, or economics.

• Over 5 years of demonstrated success in a cross-functional analytical position.

• Strong grasp of the consumer lending and credit industry, including lending economics, portfolio performance, and credit metrics.

• Experience with international lending markets, especially in Europe and/or APAC, is highly desirable.

• Ability to reconcile growth objectives with profitability and formulate data-driven growth strategies.

• Both practical and theoretical expertise in A/B testing.

• Proficient in SQL and statistical analysis utilizing Python.

• Experience in managing multiple workstreams and prioritizing an analytics roadmap.

• Practical experience with AI-powered tools like Cursor, Claude, or similar assistants.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Capability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to collaborate across Product, Risk, Commercial, Finance, and Operations.

• Capacity to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environment.

• Previous experience mentoring and guiding junior analysts.
