Analytics Engineer – Fully Remote

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and advance the data platform that supports the group’s brands.

• Analyze and evaluate the needs of business teams to deliver reliable data tailored to operational and decision-making requirements.

• Design, model, and transform data utilizing SQL and dbt.

• Address the unique business challenges associated with the group’s diverse activities.

• Aid in the development and optimization of the Data Lake on Databricks.

• Create and organize tables, enhance performance, and maintain data models.

• Contribute to data governance and ensure data quality.

• Execute tests, document tables, manage access permissions, and guarantee data reliability.

• Assist teams in utilizing and maximizing the potential of data.

• Make performance indicators (KPIs) accessible, particularly through Tableau and Databricks.

• Work collaboratively with technical, business, and finance teams.

• Engage in various cross-functional projects that influence the usage of data throughout the group.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Analytics Engineering or Data Engineering.

• Strong expertise in data transformation and modeling.

• Excellent proficiency in SQL.

• Ideally, experience with dbt, or substantial experience in SQL-based transformation that allows for quick mastery of the tool.

• Knowledge of Databricks and/or Python is a significant advantage.

• Capability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders, comprehend their challenges, and translate them into technical solutions.

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and well-organized.

• Ability to juggle multiple projects and adjust to shifting priorities.

• Inquisitive, with a keen interest in understanding the operations of various business functions and exploring new environments.

• Capacity to propose enhancements and respond swiftly to operational challenges.
