Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Act as a reliable technical advisor for customers through solution assessments, implementation support, and technical guidance.

• Establish strong connections with customer advocates and end users.

• Recognize high-impact use-case opportunities linked to essential business processes and goals.

• Partner with customers and account teams to create and implement strategic adoption strategies.

• Provide advice to customers on executing and operationalizing use cases to achieve a return on investment.

• Maintain proficiency in deploying and troubleshooting platform solutions.

• Identify product capability gaps and offer feedback to shape the product roadmap.

• Collaborate with the product team to roll out and evaluate new features.

• Earn customer trust by leveraging industry-specific knowledge and insights into market and use-case trends.

• Work alongside industry leaders, product marketing, and solution consulting teams to influence industry strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a technical discipline such as chemical, mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering; degrees in operations research, data analytics, or applied mathematics will also be considered.

• At least 2 years of experience in process engineering, reliability engineering, technical pre-sales engineering, or related fields.

• Experience in one or more verticals of industrial process manufacturing.

• A working knowledge of overarching market drivers and business priorities.

• Familiarity with challenges related to dense time-series process data and analytics tools such as Excel, MATLAB, Python, or BI tools.

• Ability to develop trust and rapport with customers, potential clients, partners, and multidisciplinary teams.

• Strong and persuasive technical communication abilities.

• Capacity to engage with subject matter experts and managers effectively.

• Competence in consulting on technical solutions utilizing current software capabilities and the broader technology landscape.

• Ability to independently prioritize tasks based on account strategy, customer requirements, and company goals.

• Programming experience in Python and/or other languages is advantageous.

• Prior experience with Seeq is a plus.

• Extensive knowledge of the SaaS industrial analytics ecosystem is beneficial, including Azure, AWS, Databricks, AVEVA, Aspen Tech, IOTA, Cognite, C3.ai, and Palantir.
