This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Comprehend the data requirements of stakeholders across Operations, Finance, and the GTM organization, which includes Sales, Marketing, BDR, and Customer Success, then convert those needs into precise technical specifications.
• Design, construct, and oversee essential data pipelines in dbt that convert raw data into standardized datasets.
• Leverage AI tools, LLMs, and agents to expedite analytics processes, including data exploration, pipeline creation, quality assurance, documentation, dashboard development, and stakeholder support.
• Read, write, troubleshoot, and validate SQL, Python, dbt models, and AI-generated code to guarantee that outputs are accurate, reliable, and ready for production.
• Set high standards for data integrity, service level agreements (SLAs), and quality assurance processes to ensure timely and precise data delivery.
• Create dependable dashboards to monitor key business, GTM, and operational metrics.
• Develop foundational data products, dashboards, automations, and internal tools that facilitate self-service analytics throughout the organization.
• Offer a strong perspective on build versus buy decisions within the GTM data infrastructure, identifying when Oscilar should utilize commercial tools versus when to build internally for speed, leverage, or differentiation.
• Collaborate with GTM and Finance leadership to shape roadmap decisions from the viewpoint of data systems and analytics.
• Become proficient in Oscilar’s data models, business metrics, GTM systems, and overall data architecture.
• Contribute to the establishment of a modern, AI-driven analytics engineering function as Oscilar expands.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or in a comparable Data Science & Analytics position.
• Proven experience collaborating with GTM, Finance, and cross-functional leaders to develop and report on company-wide metrics.
• Proficient in SQL and Python, capable of transforming raw data into clean, accurate, and scalable data models.
• Experience in constructing multi-step ETL workflows and robust data models utilizing tools such as dbt.
• Strong familiarity with AI technologies, possessing hands-on experience with tools like Claude, LLMs, and/or AI agents to enhance technical analytics, data engineering, automation, or reporting workflows.
• Ability to effectively utilize AI-generated code and analyses while independently reviewing, debugging, and validating the underlying logic.
• Knowledge of workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow and version control systems like GitHub.
• Experience in developing reports and dashboards using visualization tools like Hex, Claude-powered workflows, or similar platforms.
• A strong commitment to data integrity, with experience in building reliable data pipelines, defining metrics, implementing QA processes, and establishing reporting standards.
• Sound judgment regarding build versus buy decisions, along with the technical capability and willingness to create lightweight tools, workflows, and automations as necessary.
• Experience in a scaled, high-performing analytics or data environment, with a clear understanding of best-in-class practices.
• A full-stack mindset, willing to tackle end-to-end problem-solving even when it extends beyond a specific job description.
