Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain data analytics solutions along with business intelligence dashboards.

• Provide insightful analytics for strategic decision-making processes.

• Collaborate with business units to gather and comprehend their requirements.

• Analyze intricate datasets to derive meaningful insights.

• Deliver high-quality reporting and visualization tools for stakeholders.

• Work alongside IT and Analytics teams to enhance data integrity.

• Optimize data pipelines while fostering scalable and secure data practices.

• Create, update, and maintain data sources for reporting, analysis, and modeling purposes.

• Develop and maintain metadata and technical documentation related to data sources, pipelines, ETL processes, and associated data assets.

• Gather business requirements and convert them into technical specifications.

• Collaborate with IT engineers to refine data pipelines and ETL processes.

• Identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and standardization of data and analytics processes.

• Advocate for best practices concerning data hygiene, resource allocation, and security.

• Monitor system performance and implement enhancements as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of relevant experience, complemented by a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.

• Comprehensive understanding of data analytics, business intelligence, and relevant industry terminology.

• Proficient in standard office software and associated technologies.

• Familiarity with key data tools and their deployment processes.

• Understanding of and compliance with OnTrac's Acceptable Use security guidelines.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, maintaining professionalism.

• Effective collaboration skills within a team-oriented environment.

• Capability to prioritize tasks efficiently while ensuring accuracy in a fast-paced setting.

• Ability to define suitable methods and procedures for new assignments and assess advanced techniques.

• Proficient in delivering innovative and effective solutions to complex data and business challenges.
