Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, update, and maintain dashboards and reports in Looker, including LookML development for both new and existing explores/dashboards.

• Assist the Senior Analytics Engineer with ad hoc analyses and forecasting tasks.

• Organize and maintain the LookML/GitHub codebase.

• Oversee the sales pacing methodology, including routine manual inputs and updates across various channels.

• Manage daily Data QA/UAT with the external data vendor.

• Facilitate board data requests and regularly scheduled reporting for external partners.

• Coordinate the bi-weekly agenda for the external vendor and monitor the health of workflows.

• Aid in quarterly planning and OKR preparation, which includes drafting necessary materials.

• Provide full-time support for the Director of Data Management & Analytics’ responsibilities during maternity leave from December 2026 through May 2027.

• Report directly to the Senior Analytics Engineer as an individual contributor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in analytics, preferably in DTC, eCommerce, or CPG sectors.

• Practical experience with LookML and Looker development (including explores, views, and derived tables).

• Proficient in SQL and comfortable working with Snowflake/Looker.

• Experience in managing external data vendors and resolving data discrepancies.

• Familiarity with Git/GitHub for version control.

• Excellent documentation skills, capable of producing clear reference and handoff materials.

• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and navigate ambiguity within a lean data team.

• Availability for 40 hours a week from December 2026 through May 2027.

• Basic knowledge of Python and Hex (or similar notebook tools).

• Experience in statistics and forecasting/modeling techniques.

• Familiarity with Notion and AI tools, such as Claude.
