Analyst, Weekend, English & German Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Track both national and international media to spot breaking news, emerging trends, and significant developments.

• Conduct research across traditional media, which includes print, online, radio, and television, along with social media platforms.

• Stay updated on political, economic, and social developments while evaluating their potential implications for clients.

• Evaluate news for its timeliness, relevance, and significance to various audiences.

• Differentiate between important developments and critical events versus less relevant information.

• Verify information to ensure that clients receive accurate, reliable, and pertinent content.

• Condense complex issues swiftly, accurately, and clearly.

• Create professional Real-Time Alerts as events unfold.

• Uphold high editorial standards and customize content for target audiences.

• Collaborate with team members and colleagues globally.

• Liaise with internal stakeholders to support dependable monitoring services.

• Contribute to enhancing editorial processes and the quality of information products.

• Provide coverage on weekends and during weekday hours.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional English proficiency (minimum C1) and good German proficiency (minimum B2).

• A degree in media, communications, political science, social sciences, economics, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification.

• A keen interest in current political, economic, and social developments, with a solid understanding of international news.

• Ability to quickly comprehend complex information, evaluate its relevance, and summarize it clearly.

• Strong analytical capabilities, including the ability to identify connections and critically assess information.

• A meticulous and independent work approach, with the ability to stay organized during periods of high news activity.

• Excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a strong sense of responsibility.

• Willingness to embrace new technologies and the capability to rapidly learn digital research and media monitoring tools.

• Must be already residing in the country of employment.
