Analyst – Weekend – English, German Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Monitor both national and international media to detect breaking news, emerging trends, and significant developments.

• Conduct research across various traditional media, including print, online, radio, and television, as well as social media platforms.

• Keep track of political, economic, and social developments and evaluate their potential impact on clients.

• Assess news for timeliness, relevance, and significance to diverse audiences.

• Differentiate between crucial developments and critical events from less pertinent information.

• Verify information to guarantee that clients receive accurate, reliable, and pertinent content.

• Summarize complex issues swiftly, accurately, and clearly.

• Produce professional Real-Time Alerts as significant events unfold.

• Uphold high editorial standards, ensuring clear wording and content tailored to the target audience.

• Collaborate closely with team members and colleagues worldwide.

• Communicate with internal stakeholders to support the reliable delivery of monitoring services.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of editorial processes and information products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional English skills (at least C1) along with good German skills (at least B2).

• A degree in media, communications, political science, social sciences, economics, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification.

• A keen interest in current political, economic, and social developments, with a solid understanding of international news.

• Ability to quickly comprehend complex information, evaluate its relevance, and summarize it clearly.

• Strong analytical skills, including the capacity to identify connections and critically assess information.

• A meticulous and independent work approach, with the ability to stay organized during periods of high news activity.

• Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a sense of responsibility.

• Willingness to embrace new technologies and the ability to quickly learn digital research and media monitoring tools.

• Candidates must already reside in the country of employment.
