This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Analyze, segment, visualize, and interpret social data utilizing DataEQ’s proprietary software.
• Generate monthly, weekly, quarterly, and annual reports, typically presented in PowerPoint format.
• Craft engaging data narratives and actionable insights leveraging core products.
• Employ AI responsibly to eliminate bottlenecks, derive accurate insights, and enhance reports.
• Deliver report findings to clients in a clear and impactful manner.
• Innovate unique methods for reporting on DataEQ’s data.
• Provide guidance on methodological aspects of reports and enhance existing metrics.
• Collaborate with internal DataEQ stakeholders to align with broader business goals.
• Work alongside account directors and clients to formulate research briefs.
• Offer internal consultation on methodology for business projects and client solutions.
• Contribute to management practices, method advancements, team growth, and morale.
• Share insights that support strategic and operational improvements across customer experience and governance use cases.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as Social Sciences, Economics, Marketing, or Arts.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong grasp of social research methodologies, including probability distributions, causation, variance, sampling, and social statistics.
• Proven ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Keen attention to detail and the capability to identify and convey trends.
• Interest in and understanding of data visualization and storytelling.
• Curiosity and motivation to comprehend and articulate real-world phenomena and trends.
• Capable of presenting to senior-level stakeholders.
• Experience in managing teams.
• Previous experience writing reports for corporate entities is a plus.
• Prior experience in a corporate or similar environment is highly beneficial, though not mandatory.
• Self-motivated individual who works well in collaborative settings.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
