This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Develop and sustain dbt models and essential datasets that facilitate Accounting reporting and downstream automation initiatives.
• Enhance platform reliability by implementing robust testing practices, alerting systems, and operational runbooks.
• Take ownership of documenting data pipelines and lineage, ensuring that modifications are clear and auditable.
• Detect, diagnose, and resolve production data challenges while driving root-cause solutions.
• Optimize performance and cost efficiency in Snowflake and dbt to accommodate scaling requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering and business partners to convert requirements into reliable, thoroughly tested data assets.
• Contribute to the team's best practices in version control, code review, documentation, and release management using GitHub-based workflows.
• Over 3 years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or related roles involving production data systems.
• Proficient SQL skills and hands-on experience in building with dbt (modeling, testing, documentation).
• Experience working within a contemporary development workflow:
• Git and collaboration through pull requests (preferably GitHub).
• Familiarity with standard IDEs and collaborative debugging techniques.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred).
• A strong sense of ownership and comfort in navigating ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
