Analyst II, Credit

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Evaluate brand, compliance, fraud, and financial risks while determining credit exposure for both new and existing merchants.

• Utilize business credit reports, financial documents, investigative research tools, and market data to perform thorough merchant risk assessments.

• Explore and incorporate new sources of third-party data to gauge merchant financial risks.

• Carry out continuous monitoring of credit, fraud, and dispute/chargeback trends among merchants.

• Offer recommendations to enhance automation and improve merchant risk evaluation processes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess non-financial risks including brand, reputation, legal, and compliance aspects.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in evaluating merchant risk within Merchant/Seller Risk Management, Fraud, Collections, or Merchant Underwriting.

• Proven experience working alongside cross-functional partners, particularly within Sales and Business Development teams.

• Familiarity with reviewing financial documents, business credit reports, and statements from payment processors.

• Knowledge or experience in e-commerce underwriting and/or commercial lending practices.

• Capability to assess merchant financial risk utilizing third-party data, credit reports, and various merchant attributes.

• A strong sense of ownership, accountability, urgency, and commitment to execution.
