This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• The Analyst is tasked with the precise analysis and categorization of designated websites, products, and/or merchants.
• They leverage open-source intelligence, proprietary tools, and industry best practices to pinpoint potential risks or non-compliance issues.
• By detecting potentially hazardous, illegal, or otherwise non-compliant activities, the Analyst plays a vital role in LegitScript’s mission to enhance the safety and transparency of the internet and payment ecosystems.
• They thrive in a high-energy environment, adept at managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines with their deliverables.
• Evaluate, assess, and/or categorize merchants by employing open-source intelligence, proprietary tools, and industry best practices, while utilizing contextual data.
• Comprehend and make use of the various tools and resources essential for executing routine program tasks.
• Make rapid, precise analytical decisions based on information that may occasionally be ambiguous.
• Convey analysis results in clear and concise written reports.
• Submit reports in compliance with the program’s reporting standards and strict deadlines.
• Escalate inquiries to the appropriate colleagues using sound judgment.
• Support other projects and tasks as assigned by the Manager.
• Aid in the upkeep of program documentation as directed by Senior Analysts and the Manager.

• Open to applicants with a 4-year college degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in MacOS.
• Skilled in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
• Comfortable receiving feedback for overall personal and professional growth.
• Capable of thriving in a dynamic market with a mindset focused on continuous improvement.
• Exceptional time management and prioritization abilities.
• Experience working with large data sets (Excel and Google Sheets).
• Ability to exercise good judgment and make sound independent decisions.
• Outstanding attention to detail.
• Possess problem-solving skills, along with the capacity to use good judgment and make sound independent decisions.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, independent, and curious.
