This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee and perform thorough analysis of security alerts utilizing the CrowdStrike platform

• Implement incident-handling protocols across Windows, Mac, and Linux environments

• Conduct malware analysis

• Execute remote remediation efforts for malware or harmful activities

• Create and enhance procedures for incident detection, triage, and execution of countermeasures

• Generate written and verbal communications, along with recommendations and findings for customer management

• Exhibit industry thought leadership through blog contributions, CrowdCasts, and speaking engagements

• Support the advancement of security processes and procedures

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in incident management, including leading incident response and investigating targeted threats such as Advanced Persistent Threats, Organized Crime, and Hacktivist activities

• Familiarity with forensic analysis tools for incident response investigations

• Knowledge of system internals and systems administration

• Capability to conduct both static and dynamic malware analysis

• In-depth understanding of targeted attacks and the ability to develop tailored tactical and strategic remediation strategies

• Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as PowerShell, C, C#, VB, Python, Perl, Ruby on Rails, and .NET

• Possession of at least one relevant security certification

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Extensive experience with Mac OS, Windows, and Unix operating systems

• Capacity to manage high-pressure situations in a productive and professional manner

• Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask

• BA or BS, or MA or MS in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience

• Demonstrated experience leveraging AI technologies to improve decision-making, optimize workflows and processes, enhance efficiency, and drive business results
