This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee and conduct thorough analyses of security alerts utilizing the CrowdStrike platform.

• Implement incident-handling protocols across Windows, Mac, and Linux environments.

• Execute malware analysis.

• Carry out remote remediation of malware or harmful activities.

• Design and enhance processes for incident detection, triage, and implementation of countermeasures.

• Generate high-quality written and verbal communications, recommendations, and findings for customer management.

• Showcase industry thought leadership through blog posts, CrowdCasts, and various public speaking engagements.

• Contribute to the advancement of security processes and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in incident handling, including incident response for organizations and investigation of targeted threats such as Advanced Persistent Threats, Organized Crime, and Hacktivists.

• Familiarity with forensic analysis tools in incident response investigations.

• Comprehensive understanding of system internals and systems administration.

• Capable of performing both static and dynamic malware analysis.

• Solid understanding of targeted attacks and the ability to formulate tailored tactical and strategic remediation plans.

• Programming/scripting expertise in PowerShell, C, C#, VB, Python, Perl, Ruby on Rails, and .NET.

• At least one pertinent security certification.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Extensive experience with Mac OS, Windows, and Unix operating systems.

• Ability to navigate high-pressure situations effectively and professionally.

• Strong time management and multitasking capabilities.

• BA or BS / MA or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Information Security, Information Assurance, Information Security Management, Intelligence Studies, Cybersecurity, Cybersecurity Policy, or relevant work experience.

• Demonstrated experience leveraging AI technologies to enhance decision-making, optimize workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business results.
