This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Comprehend plan formulary design and contracting opportunities tailored for specific client setups.
• Evaluate claims data to guarantee the accuracy of contract processing and pharmaceutical manufacturer contracts.
• Provide recommendations to clients focusing on contract optimization.
• Offer sales and RFP assistance for potential clients, renewals, and market assessments.
• Collaborate with Finance and Underwriting to assess contracts and manage pricing risks effectively.
• Support the review of contracts, data entry, evaluations, and reconciliations of financial guarantees for clients.
• Aid in the delivery of information essential for informed business decision-making.
• Act as a primary contact for Client Services and participate in client calls related to contract reporting, guarantee inquiries, and data analysis.
• Work in coordination with Analytics on contract reporting systems.
• Assist with initiatives for new contract programs and the expansion of contract forecasting.
• Function as the subject matter expert for internal and external audits, including those from manufacturers, clients, and regulatory bodies.
• Lead and manage government-related or regulated reporting activities.
• Review discount strategies and pharmaceutical manufacturer contracts, ensuring the proper maintenance of contract processing parameters and accurate payment allocation.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
• A bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• 3-5 years of experience in managed care, pharmacy benefits management, or the pharmaceutical sector is required.
• Familiarity with PBMs and rebate analytics is essential.
• A pharmacy technician license is preferred.
• Experience in pharmacy technician roles, trade relations, industry relations, and/or analytics is preferred.
• Capable of participating in, adhering to, and supporting compliance program objectives.
• Ability to engage cooperatively and respectfully with colleagues.
• Must reside in an eligible U.S. location; remote work is not available in Alaska, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Montana, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Vermont, Washington DC, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
• Work hours are Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.
