This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Take ownership of onboarding processes, reduce cycle times, and create scalable, automation-ready workflows with a collaborative and AI-focused approach.
• This position emphasizes execution, process enhancement, and coordination.
• Aim for scalability by documenting, systematizing, and gradually automating workflows.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Tech teams to design workflows that can eventually be transitioned to AI tools, beginning with KYB automation.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients during the document collection stage.
• Manage and streamline end-to-end onboarding operational workflows, identifying obstacles and implementing enhancements.
• Work together with Growth, Finance Ops, and Product teams to improve handoffs and eliminate inefficiencies in processes.
• Document and systematize all onboarding operational workflows into clear, repeatable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Facilitate the shift from manual processes to AI-assisted workflows over time.
• Prepare and submit Partner Information Forms (PIFs) along with necessary documentation required by card schemes for partner onboarding and certification.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in business operations, KYC document processing, customer onboarding, or a related operational role.
• Practical experience with structured checklists, data collection workflows, or document review processes.
• Proven experience in building with AI, whether through automation tools, agentic workflows, prompt-based solutions, or AI-assisted process design; we're seeking someone who has actively developed AI solutions, not just utilized them.
• Experience in fintech, financial services, or regulated sectors is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on process.
• Proficient in managing case queues, tracking document statuses, and adhering to established escalation protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to identify operational bottlenecks and implement measurable improvements in turnaround times.
• Capable of spotting gaps or inconsistencies in documentation without needing to make risk-based compliance decisions.
• Views manual processes as challenges to be addressed, not tasks to be repeated.
• Thinks in terms of workflows: recognizes inputs, outputs, decision points, and exception paths that can be converted into automated logic.
• Comfortable collaborating with Product and Tech teams to define and test automation tools.
• Actively seeks opportunities to minimize human-in-the-loop steps through tooling and process redesign.
• Strong communicator, able to draft professional Requests for Information (RFIs) and coordinate effectively with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
• Comfortable creating productive tension with adjacent teams (Compliance, Growth) to achieve better outcomes and accelerate processes.
• Based in or able to work in alignment with the Mexico time zone and public holidays.
• Willing to work during local public holidays if necessary (compensatory leave will be provided).
• Fluent in business English and Portuguese (both spoken and written).
• Proficiency in any additional language (e.g., Spanish) is a significant advantage.
