Analista de Segurança da Informação Pleno – Detecção, SIEM, Perímetro, NGFW

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Operate and support the maintenance of the SIEM platform, ensuring accurate collection of log sources, data integrity, and quality of received information.

• Assist in the creation, review, and fine-tuning of detection rules and use cases, aiming to reduce false positives and optimize alerts.

• Manage and administer Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW): controlled implementation of access rules, NAT, VPNs, documentation of justifications, and periodic review of orphaned rules.

• Actively support network segmentation activities, traffic rules, and perimeter hardening.

• Monitor, classify, and investigate security alerts generated by the SIEM, firewalls, and other perimeter tools.

• Conduct initial triage and analysis of perimeter security incidents, escalating to the Specialist as necessary.

• Produce operational reports, traffic maps, and indicators of security incidents/blockages.

• Create and maintain up-to-date technical documentation of topologies, network flows, and operational procedures (POPs).

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional experience in Information Security, Networking, IT Infrastructure, or related fields with a focus on security.

• Practical experience in monitoring, log triage, and routine operation of SIEM platforms.

• Knowledge in the operation and administration of Next-Generation Firewalls (Check Point, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or equivalents).

• Solid and practical knowledge of TCP/IP networks, routing, network segmentation (VLANs, DMZs), and communication protocols.

• Understanding of detection rules, event correlation, and log header analysis.

• Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments.

• Proven ability in technical analysis and attention to documentation of activities.

• High analytical capability, attention to detail, and an investigative mindset.

• Organization and discipline to adhere to change management processes.

• Good communication skills for interaction with infrastructure teams, telecom, and external partners.

• Proactiveness and interest in continuous technical evolution in the SecOps field.
