Analista de Infraestrutura de TI – Observabilidade

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Manage, maintain, and enhance the organization's observability platforms.

• Develop and implement monitoring strategies for infrastructure, applications, databases, networks, containers, and cloud services.

• Administer Zabbix, Grafana, Instana, and other observability tools.

• Create and maintain templates, dashboards, maps, alerts, indicators, and executive panels.

• Define metrics, KPIs, SLIs, and SLOs to monitor the availability and performance of services.

• Develop integrations between observability platforms, corporate systems, and ITSM tools using APIs and Webhooks.

• Create automations for provisioning, metric collection, alert generation, and reduction of repetitive operational tasks.

• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) of incidents related to infrastructure and applications.

• Support Infrastructure, Database, Development, DevOps, and Security teams in identifying and resolving issues.

• Administer and maintain the databases used by observability platforms, ensuring their performance, availability, and integrity.

• Participate in the implementation of new services, ensuring adherence to best observability practices.

• Prepare technical documentation and promote best practices among teams.

• Participate in on-call rotations as needed.

• Collaborate with the monitoring team and customer support.

• Monitor monitoring consoles.

• Address alert events.

• Modify hardware resources on virtual servers.

• Notify the team of actions taken.

• Stay updated with the team communication group.

• Engage support teams as needed.

• Respond to telephone calls.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid experience with corporate observability platforms.

• Experience in critical and high-availability environments.

• Experience in building operational and executive dashboards.

• Experience in analyzing metrics, logs, traces, and performance indicators.

• Experience in troubleshooting infrastructure, applications, and services.

• Experience in developing automations using scripts and APIs.

• Experience with Linux environments.

• Familiarity with containers and orchestration will be considered an advantage.

• Experience in hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud) will be considered a plus.

• Advanced administration of Zabbix.

• Advanced administration of Grafana.

• Experience with Instana for application and infrastructure observability.

• Knowledge of log management platforms such as OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, Graylog, or similar.

• Understanding of observability concepts, including metrics, logs, traces, SLIs, SLOs, and KPIs.

• Development of executive and operational dashboards.

• Administration and maintenance of databases used by observability platforms (PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, or equivalents).

• Knowledge of Linux for platform administration.

• Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SNMP, ICMP, and TLS).

• Experience with Docker, including deployment, administration, and troubleshooting of containers.

• Knowledge of REST APIs and Webhooks for tool integration.

• Knowledge of automation using Shell Script, Python, or PowerShell.

• Ability to develop scripts and automations for provisioning, metric collection, alert generation, and platform integration.

• Knowledge of Git will be considered an advantage.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes will be considered an advantage.

• Knowledge of Prometheus, Alertmanager, and VictoriaMetrics will be considered a plus.

• Knowledge of OpenTelemetry will be considered a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Networks, or related fields.

• Courses focused on Observability, Zabbix, Grafana, Instana, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Automation, or Cloud will be considered advantageous.

• Certifications such as ZCS, ZCP, Grafana Certified Associate, equivalent certifications from Instana, CKA, LFCS, or ITIL Foundation are desirable or advantageous.
