This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Define the technological strategy and architecture in alignment with business objectives.

• Lead transformation initiatives, automation, and Infrastructure as Code.

• Implement and govern Site Reliability Engineering practices, SLIs, SLOs, and Error Budgets.

• Drive the strategy for observability, monitoring, analytics, and event management.

• Oversee Windows Server, SQL Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, SAP Basis, and cloud services platforms.

• Ensure compliance with security standards, auditing, and frameworks such as SOX, ISO 27001, and NIST.

• Manage strategic vendors, contracts, SLAs, and technology budgets.

• Lead multidisciplinary teams in architecture, engineering, and operations.

• Serve as a technology advisor to executives and business leaders.

• Promote technological modernization, automation, reliability, observability, security, and operational excellence.

• Design and operate highly available, resilient, and scalable enterprise platforms.

• Reduce MTTR, enhance service reliability, and optimize user experience through proactive operations.

• Facilitate infrastructure self-service and application delivery through internal platforms and reusable services.

• Integrate SAP platforms with cloud services, security, databases, storage, monitoring, and identity solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields; a master's degree is preferred.

• Over 8 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure and architecture, including leadership in large-scale enterprise environments.

• More than 5 years of managerial experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams and managed service providers.

• Proven experience in developing and implementing IT strategies, architectural roadmaps, operational governance, and technology standards.

• Strong background in financial and vendor management, including contract negotiation, service reviews, SLA management, and technology procurement.

• Extensive experience with Windows Server, Active Directory/Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft SQL Server, SAP Basis, storage, backups, and disaster recovery.

• Deep experience with hybrid cloud platforms (Azure, VMware, and private cloud).

• Proven ability to design highly available, resilient, and scalable enterprise platforms.

• Knowledge of IAM, SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, RBAC, least privilege, PAM/PIM, and IGA.

• Experience implementing Zero Trust architectures and SOX, ISO 27001, and NIST controls.

• Experience managing strategic technology vendors and managed service providers.

• Experience applying SRE principles, SLIs, SLOs, Error Budgets, incident and problem management, and operational resilience.

• Experience in building and operating internal platforms, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, GitOps, developer platforms, cloud governance, and service catalogs.

• Hands-on experience with infrastructure monitoring, APM, DEM, synthetic monitoring, business service monitoring, and end-to-end observability.

• Experience in automation using PowerShell, Python, Azure Automation, Ansible, ServiceNow Workflows, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.

• Extensive experience with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, SAP Solution Manager, and SAP Basis administration.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation skills.
