This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Translate business hypotheses and problems into structured and actionable analyses.
• Define, evolve, and question product success metrics and KPIs.
• Proactively monitor and signal abnormalities, usage declines, or behavioral deviations in product indicators.
• Assess friction points in the customer journey and create conversion funnels, proposing improvement paths in collaboration with Product and Design.
• Structure, execute, and monitor A/B tests and experiments, ensuring control of variables and statistical significance.
• Relate the impact of new features to ROI and revenue, aiding in bridging product data with business data.
• Build and maintain dashboards and executive and operational support materials, focusing on clarity and impact.
• Prepare reports and executive presentations with concise and actionable insights for leadership.
• Participate in product rituals (plannings, reviews, dailies, refinements) and strategic discussions from ideation, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with the Data Chapter to ensure data quality, traceability, governance, and promote a data-driven culture.
• Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.
• Experience with exploratory, diagnostic, and predictive analyses.
• Proficiency in at least one analytical programming language (Python or R).
• Advanced SQL skills (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Postgre), with a good understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling.
• Solid understanding of how event data functions and how they relate to each other.
• Experience with BI tools, such as Metabase, Quicksight (Amazon Quick), Power BI, Looker, among others.
• Familiarity with product metric definition and A/B testing.
• Excellent organization and autonomy to prioritize multiple fronts and stakeholders without constant direction.
• Strategic mindset, with an interest in understanding the rationale behind each feature for the user and the business.
• Communication skills to transform analyses into clear narratives, with frequent and proactive reporting.
• Ability to navigate between technical and business areas, adapting tone and depth of discussion accordingly.
• Preferred: experience in agile environments and product squads; knowledge or understanding of data modeling and data pipelines; experience with PostHog and GA4.
