This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Engaging in client audit assignments
• Conducting audits related to outpatient coding
• Recognizing and suggesting opportunities for client enhancements
• Collaborating with and educating both external and internal stakeholders on topics related to outpatient coding and documentation
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution with eight (8) years of experience in a private, public, government, or military setting OR a High School Diploma/GED combined with eleven (11) years of experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
• CIRCC certification and/or over five (5) years of experience in interventional radiology or cardiology CPT procedure coding
• RHIA, RHIT, CCS-P, or CPC certification along with a minimum of five (5) years of professional clinical coding experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications
• Capability to address problems in a logical, systematic, and efficient manner
• Analytical abilities related to independently interpreting, preparing, and analyzing data
• Demonstrated capacity to maintain excellent customer and employee relations in a dynamic environment
• Experience with telecommuting, utilizing EMRs, and other electronic tools
