Alliance Partnership Manager – Cyber Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and oversee strategic partnerships with cyber insurers, brokers, and legal collaborators to enhance referrals, visibility, and collaborative efforts.

• Act as the primary point of contact for designated partners, ensuring operational alignment, field engagement, and mutual objectives.

• Work together with internal stakeholders to design and implement go-to-market strategies that cater to the insurance ecosystem's requirements.

• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to guarantee the creation and dissemination of customized content, campaigns, and partner-specific communications.

• Track performance KPIs, such as referral volume, conversion rates, and panel activity; provide insights to enhance partner engagement.

• Aid in maintaining Sophos’ ongoing participation on cyber insurer panels by ensuring consistent execution and operational excellence.

• Collaborate across functions to align advisory and incident response services with ecosystem demands and facilitate seamless delivery.

• Assist in gathering and sharing partner feedback with internal teams to shape roadmap priorities and enhance service offerings.

• Ensure CRM accuracy and documentation to properly represent partner relationships and opportunity pipelines.

• Represent Sophos at industry events and partner meetings, boosting our brand visibility and strengthening strategic partnerships.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in alliance management, channel sales, business development, or partner marketing within the cybersecurity, insurance, or legal sectors.

• Knowledge of the cyber insurance landscape, including typical panel frameworks, breach response processes, and key decision-makers.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity services such as MDR, IR, XDR, threat intelligence, and advisory consulting.

• Strong skills in relationship building, with experience managing intricate partner dynamics and achieving collaborative results.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, capable of articulating value propositions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Self-motivated individual capable of thriving in a fast-paced, matrixed, and global environment.

• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail, able to manage multiple projects concurrently.

• Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office, and collaboration platforms like Teams or Zoom.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.

• Bonus: Experience working with insurance brokers or managing relationships with cyber insurers.
