This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.
• Manage and supervise airfreight shipments across all branches of the company, covering both domestic and international transport routes.
• Prepare and handle all shipping documentation, such as airway bills and customs paperwork.
• Communicate with shippers, consignees, carriers, and airlines to facilitate seamless transportation.
• Create customs documentation and work closely with customs authorities to guarantee compliance with legal and international trade regulations.
• Keep customers informed about shipment status, address inquiries, and resolve any complaints.
• Track shipments, monitor delays, and troubleshoot transport issues.
• Collaborate with airport handling services, warehouses, and carriers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain the customer database, document transactions, and generate regular reports on shipment status and performance.
• Provide on-call support during evenings and weekends, approximately once a month.
• Completed training or education in logistics, freight forwarding, or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of experience in airfreight or international logistics is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of airfreight and customs regulations.
• Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English.
• Ability to work independently with a structured and detail-oriented approach.
• A strong team player capable of performing well under pressure.
• Proficient in MS Office and widely-used logistics software.
• Willingness to engage in weekend on-call support, roughly once a month.
