AI/ML Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +9 more states.

📋 Description

• Function as a self-sufficient, T-shaped full-stack AI/ML engineer.

• Propose and implement AI/ML-driven solutions.

• Evaluate technical architecture documentation for the project and ensure the engineering team's outputs are executed as planned.

• Create code that meets the requirements set by the business, technical architects, and clients.

• Guarantee that the code you produce maintains a very high standard of quality with minimal potential for defects in production environments.

• Write documentation for your code that is beneficial for your teammates and other members of the Engineering team.

• Collaborate effectively as a team member to meet deadlines.

• Investigate code when technical challenges arise to conduct root-cause analyses and implement solutions.

• Develop proofs of concept as required.

• Review code produced by your colleagues to detect issues before they arise after deployment.

• Stay updated with engineering best practices, design principles, technology, security, and compliance to apply this knowledge to all aforementioned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related engineering field.

• Over 4 years of experience as an AI/ML Software Engineer with similar responsibilities as described above (internship experience not included).

• Proficient in engineering with Python.

• Experienced in engineering within Linux and/or MacOS environments.

• Familiar with engineering a SaaS product/platform.

• Skilled in accurately logging all design, development, and consulting hours daily to avoid revenue leakage and ensure accurate client invoicing.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Valid work authorization in the US.
