AI Tutor – Legal & Compliance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Accurately input and label data for legal and compliance projects utilizing proprietary software.

• Provide curated, high-quality data for regulatory compliance, contract analysis, legal research, and dispute resolution scenarios.

• Work collaboratively with technical staff to assist in training new AI tasks.

• Play a role in the development of innovative technologies.

• Contribute to the design and enhancement of annotation tools for legal and compliance data.

• Identify and analyze complex legal and compliance issues to improve AI model performance.

• Interpret, analyze, and execute tasks based on changing instructions while ensuring precision and adaptability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A J.D. (Juris Doctor) degree or a foreign equivalent is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of legal practice in one or more of the specified practice areas.

• Strong skills in legal analysis and writing.

• Capability to draft clear, concise, and well-reasoned legal documents and memoranda.

• Proficiency in reading and writing both informal and professional English.

• Relevant certification, license, or advanced training (such as bar admission or similar legal certification).

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational abilities.

• Outstanding reading comprehension and the ability to exercise independent judgment with limited data.

• A passion for technological advancements and innovation in legal processes.

• Legal eligibility and compatibility with the required time zone.

• Visa sponsorship is not available.

• A personal computer must be a Chromebook, Mac with MacOS 11.0 or later, or Windows 10 or later if working from a personal device.
