AI Strategist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.

📋 Description

• Manage the Agent Development Life Cycle from the initial scope through conversation design, tooling, evaluation, launch, and ongoing production iteration.

• Convert business objectives into agents that exceed expectations and optimize them for actual performance.

• Serve as a trusted strategic consultant to enterprise leaders, shaping AI strategies that align with business success.

• Collaborate directly with customer executives and their working teams.

• Facilitate working sessions, troubleshoot agents, and make decisions to ensure builds remain on schedule for launch.

• Identify unmet customer needs and relay them to research and platform teams to influence product direction.

• Develop production-quality Agentic AI and LLM systems capable of reasoning, tool interaction, and solving intricate real-world challenges.

• Transition AI systems from early prototypes to dependable, scalable solutions utilized across finance, healthcare, commerce, and telecommunications.

• Ability to communicate clearly, directly, and persuasively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities to deconstruct complex issues, identify risks early, and adapt swiftly as situations evolve.

• Comfort in directly engaging with technical concepts, including reading API documentation, grasping data models and system architecture, and navigating engineering trade-offs in design discussions.

• Proven experience managing multiple complex, high-profile projects simultaneously and driving them to successful outcomes.

• Genuine interest in Financial Services and enhancing the end customer experience.

• Background in financial technology, implementations at financial institutions, experience within financial institutions, or familiarity with financial services security and compliance requirements is advantageous.

• Experience in building or deploying AI/LLM agents in production, including evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG, and prompt engineering is highly desirable.

• Experience as a founder, founding team member, or operator is a significant plus.

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, as well as an MBA or comparable experience at the intersection of technology and business is a strong advantage.
