AI Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with clients to comprehend their business objectives regarding the implementation of AI technologies, present sustainable and achievable technical solutions, and modify strategies based on feedback.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering teams leveraging your AI expertise, both within Livefront and externally with clients, by establishing technical standards, performing code reviews, and contributing to product vision.

• Participate in technical spikes to investigate new technologies and methodologies.

• Lead the development of robust architectures tailored to client requirements and implement these solutions hands-on, ensuring scalability and maintainability.

• Design, develop, and integrate APIs, data pipelines, and end-to-end infrastructure to facilitate seamless communication between systems. Assist in optimizing performance and ensuring AI models are useful, scalable, and maintainable.

• Adapt your skills across various projects, including API design, real-time technical support, and DevOps, showcasing versatility and responsiveness to diverse client needs.

• Work collaboratively across functions, enhancing communication between backend teams, frontend teams, designers, and other team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7-10 years of software engineering experience, ideally in a consulting setting or as part of an in-house, cross-functional product team.

• Full-stack engineering experience in web or native mobile development.

• Proficiency in Python/JavaScript, Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps, LLMs & RAG Architecture, and event-driven architectures.

• Data engineering experience that facilitates successful AI implementations.

• Proven expertise in architecting, building, maintaining, and scaling modern software across various platforms.

• Experience in designing APIs and drafting API specifications.

• Ability to effectively communicate technical requirements to fellow engineers.

• Strong security awareness: capable of anticipating potential risks.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage directly with clients, manage expectations, and elucidate complex technical concepts and their implications.

• Outstanding presentation skills and a strong capacity to advocate for technical and architectural decisions persuasively. Advanced English proficiency is required.
