AI Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with clients to gain insights into their business objectives regarding the implementation of AI technologies, presenting sustainable and feasible technical solutions while adapting strategies based on their feedback.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering teams leveraging your AI expertise, both within Livefront and for clients, by establishing technical standards, performing code reviews, and contributing to the overall product vision.

• Participate in technical spikes to investigate new technologies and methodologies.

• Spearhead the design of resilient architectures customized to client requirements and implement these solutions hands-on, ensuring they are scalable and maintainable.

• Design, develop, and integrate APIs, data pipelines, and comprehensive infrastructure that guarantees seamless system communication. Assist in optimizing performance to ensure AI models are effective, scalable, and maintainable.

• Adapt your skills across various projects, including API design, real-time technical support, and DevOps, showcasing versatility and responsiveness to diverse client needs.

• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, enhancing communication between backend teams, frontend teams, designers, and other team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7-10 years of software engineering experience, ideally within a consulting setting or as part of an in-house, cross-functional product team.

• Proficient in full-stack engineering for web or native mobile applications.

• Experience with Python/JavaScript, Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps, LLMs & RAG Architecture, as well as event-driven architectures.

• Data engineering experience that supports successful AI implementations.

• Proven expertise in architecting, building, maintaining, and scaling modern software across various platforms.

• Experience in designing APIs and drafting API specifications.

• Ability to clearly communicate technical requirements to fellow engineers.

• A strong understanding of security, with the ability to anticipate potential risks.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging directly with clients, managing expectations, and elucidating advanced technical concepts and their implications.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong capacity to persuasively present and defend technical and architectural decisions. Advanced English proficiency is required.
