AI Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with clients to comprehend their business objectives related to the implementation of AI technologies, presenting sustainable and feasible technical solutions while modifying strategies based on client feedback.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering teams through your AI expertise, both within Livefront and externally with clients, by establishing technical standards, performing code reviews, and contributing to the product vision.

• Participate in technical explorations to investigate new technologies and methodologies.

• Spearhead the design of robust architectures customized to client specifications and execute these solutions hands-on, ensuring scalability and maintainability.

• Design, develop, and integrate APIs, data pipelines, and end-to-end infrastructure that facilitate seamless communication between systems. Assist in optimizing performance to ensure AI models are useful, scalable, and maintainable.

• Adapt your skills across various projects, including API design, real-time technical support, and DevOps, showcasing versatility and responsiveness to diverse client requirements.

• Work collaboratively across functions to enhance communication among backend teams, frontend teams, designers, and other stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7-10 years of software engineering experience, ideally within a consulting environment or as part of an in-house, cross-functional product team.

• Full-stack engineering experience in web or native mobile applications.

• Proficiency in Python/JavaScript, Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps, LLMs & RAG Architecture, and event-driven architectures.

• Data engineering expertise that will facilitate successful AI implementations.

• Proven ability in architecting, building, maintaining, and scaling modern software across various platforms.

• Experience in designing APIs and composing API specifications.

• Capacity to clearly convey technical requirements to fellow engineers.

• Strong security awareness: able to anticipate potential risks effectively.

• Skillful in direct communication with clients, managing expectations, and elucidating advanced technical concepts and their implications.

• Excellent communication skills coupled with a strong capability to persuasively present and defend technical and architectural decisions. Advanced proficiency in English.
