AI Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with clients to grasp their business objectives for implementing AI technologies, presenting sustainable and feasible technical solutions, and modifying strategies based on client feedback.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering teams with your AI expertise, both within Livefront and for the client, by establishing technical standards, performing code reviews, and contributing to the product vision.

• Participate in technical explorations to investigate new technologies and methodologies.

• Spearhead the design of robust architectures customized to client requirements and execute these solutions hands-on, ensuring scalability and maintainability.

• Design, develop, and integrate APIs, data pipelines, and comprehensive infrastructure that facilitate seamless communication between systems. Assist in optimizing performance to make AI models effective, scalable, and maintainable.

• Adjust your skills across various projects, encompassing API design, real-time technical support, and DevOps, demonstrating adaptability and responsiveness to diverse client needs.

• Foster cross-functional collaboration, enhancing communication between backend teams, frontend teams, designers, and other team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7-10 years of software engineering experience, ideally in a consulting setting or as part of an in-house, cross-functional product team.

• Full-stack engineering experience in web or native mobile applications.

• Proficiency in Python/JavaScript, Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps, LLMs & RAG Architecture, and event-driven architectures.

• Experience in data engineering that supports successful AI implementations.

• Proven expertise in architecting, building, maintaining, and scaling modern software across various platforms.

• Experience in designing APIs and drafting API specifications.

• Ability to effectively communicate technical requirements to fellow engineers.

• A strong sense of security awareness: capable of anticipating potential risks.

• A knack for direct communication with clients, managing expectations, and elucidating advanced technical concepts and their implications.

• Exceptional communication abilities and a strong aptitude for presenting and defending technical and architectural choices convincingly. Advanced English proficiency is required.
