This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia.
• You will act as the technical lead in pre-sales for federal initiatives covering the Intelligence Community, Department of War/Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, and civilian agencies.
• Design and implement our platform in both connected SaaS environments and fully isolated, air-gapped settings.
• Develop real integrations using our SDKs and APIs.
• Create demonstrations focused on mission objectives and proof-of-concept AI applications that illustrate how AI workloads are targeted and how we protect them.
• Facilitate discovery workshops to comprehend customer missions, AI projects, architectures, data workflows, and security and compliance requirements.
• Convert unclear mission requirements into defined proof-of-value projects with measurable success metrics, timelines, and exit criteria.
• Honestly assess technical compatibility, including what our platform can and cannot achieve.
• Provide live demonstrations and architecture sessions tailored to mission results for audiences ranging from data scientists and machine learning engineers to security teams and senior executives.
• Over 5 years of experience in solutions architecture, solutions engineering, applied AI engineering, or a related customer-facing technical position, including direct support for federal clients across the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense/Department of War, Department of Homeland Security, or civilian agencies.
• You actively work with AI. Proficient in Python and knowledgeable across the contemporary AI stack, including model formats and inference, LLM APIs, retrieval and agentic patterns, and frameworks such as PyTorch, Hugging Face, and ONNX.
• Experienced with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm, and knowledgeable about transferring images and artifacts into restricted or entirely isolated environments.
• Understand the transition of models from data to production (MLOps and CI/CD) and the role of security within that process.
• Possess a foundational understanding of security, including concepts of adversarial machine learning and common classes of AI attacks, and are capable of discussing these topics authentically without exaggeration.
• Have operated within federal missions, not merely sold to them, and can articulate mission outcomes with precision.
• Comfortable presenting on stage and on camera: conducting live demos, whiteboard sessions, conference presentations, and executive briefings.
• Exhibit a genuine curiosity. You can reference recent self-taught skills, whether through side projects, home labs, publications, open-source contributions, or entirely new domains you explored independently.
• Willing to travel as necessary to support customer interactions and industry events.
